The Bullis Bulldogs will square off against the St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Bullis' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 17 matchups.
Bullis is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: Maret, who was ranked 11th in their home state at the time (Bullis was ranked fourth). Bullis blew past Maret 76-51 on Thursday. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 22 points or more this season.

Bullis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ivanna Manyacka, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 boards. Manyacka has been hot, having posted nine or more rebounds the last five times she's played. Meghan Yarnevich was another key player, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 15 boards.
Bullis smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in 15 consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, St. Andrew's Episcopal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost to Sidwell Friends at home by a 54-37 margin.
Bullis will have to keep a close watch on Safa Al-Uqdah Robinson and Anna Beth Tsai-Turton, a pair of players who had a big impact on St. Andrew's Episcopal's prior game. Al-Uqdah Robinson went 7 for 16 on her way to 16 points and seven rebounds, while Tsai-Turton went 6 of 10 en route to 13 points and six boards.
Bullis is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.7 points per game. As for St. Andrew's Episcopal, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-11.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Bullis has been crashing the rebounds this season, having averaged 40.2 boards per game. However, it's not like St. Andrew's Episcopal struggles in that department as they've been averaging 31.9 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Everything came up roses for Bullis against St. Andrew's Episcopal in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured an 82-24 victory. In that game, Bullis amassed a halftime lead of 45-13, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
