The Community Christian Crusaders will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Heritage Christian School Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on December 14th. One thing working in Community Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven games.
Community Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 24 points or more this season. They took their game on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 57-23 win over Palm Grove Christian. With Community Christian ahead 44-15 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Meanwhile, Heritage Christian School unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They were dealt a 93-64 defeat at the hands of North Kissimmee Christian. Heritage Christian School was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-25.
The losing side was boosted by Elijah Reid, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. The matchup was his tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kedwin Hawkins, who scored eight points.
Community Christian's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. As for Heritage Christian School, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.
Community Christian came up short against Heritage Christian School in their previous matchup back in February, falling 78-69. Thankfully for Community Christian, Josue Hernandez (who scored 32 points along with nine rebounds and seven assists) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
