Emery Jensen and Emma Rette were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing, Jensen pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Rette tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Jensen has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in nine consecutive appearances. At the plate, Jensen got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and four RBI, while Rette scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Those four runs gave Jensen a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kristen Armstrong, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Gillmore, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Pine Lake Prep kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in six consecutive contests.
