Point Loma strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 25-3 margin over the Scripps Ranch Falcons. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pointers also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2023.

Point Loma got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Henry Heuser out in front who rushed for 85 yards and one score on only six carries, and also threw for 195 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 74.2% of his passes. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 56 yards. Point Loma's leading receiver Romeo Carter was Heuser's top target yet again, picking up 59 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, while also rushing for 47 yards.

Point Loma's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Scripps Ranch, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Point Loma will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Eastlake at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Scripps Ranch, they will head out to face off against La Jolla Country Day at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
