They were dealt a 69-22 loss at the hands of Westover Christian Academy on Friday. Oak Level Baptist Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-12.
Among those leading the charge was Malachai Waller, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and three steals. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Keeley Bettendorf, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds.
Oak Level Baptist Academy's defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-7. As for Westover Christian Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oak Level Baptist Academy is on the road again on Monday and play against White Plains Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 18th. White Plains Christian is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Westover Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against North Cross at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
