3A District 1 recap Sept. 26, 2012
Paducah Tilghman was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from third to first in 3A District 1. Earlier in the week, the Blue Tornado triumphed over Heath 49-0.
Paducah Tilghman took down the Pirates 49-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Paducah Tilghman takes on second place Fort Campbell. Randy Wyatt's team defeated Heath last week, while Fort Campbell topped Trigg County.
The Wildcats made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,747 from 6,462. The improvement was the result of 56-40 victory over Trigg County last week.
