The Southeast Seminoles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 43-42 to Braden River. If Southeast hoped to take revenge for the 35-24 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
When it comes to explaining why Southeast lost, one person who can't be blamed is Azharia Jones. Despite the final result, she scored 11 points.
Southeast's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Braden River, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-7.
Southeast will take on Sarasota at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Braden River, they will head out on the road to challenge Port Charlotte at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
