The Gibbs Gladiators are on the road again on Wednesday and plays the Gateway Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on February 14th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Florida (Gibbs is ranked 129th, while Gateway is ranked 151st).
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Gibbs can now relate to. They fell 53-44 to the Jaguars on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Gateway waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They took down Aubrey Rogers 56-37. Gateway pushed the score to 47-26 by the end of the third, a deficit Aubrey Rogers cut but never quite recovered from.
Gibbs' loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Gateway, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.
