The Papillion-LaVista South Titans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell 51-44 to Omaha Westside. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Papillion-LaVista South has scored all season.

That was a full 38.6% of Papillion-LaVista South's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Wes Frost, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Omaha Westside to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kevin Stubblefield, who scored 18 points. Stubblefield is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last five games he's played. Rickey Loftin was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Papillion-LaVista South will head out on the road to challenge Gretna at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nebraska (Gretna is ranked 32nd, while Papillion-LaVista South is ranked 36th). As for Omaha Westside, Omaha Westside and Millard North will face off at 7:15 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Millard North knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully Omaha Westside likes a good challenge.
