After flying high against Conneaut on Monday, Pymatuning Valley came back down to earth. The Lakers lost 10-4 to the Jefferson Area Falcons on Tuesday. The Lakers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Pymatuning Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was CJ Karbacka, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one run.

Pymatuning Valley's loss dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Jefferson Area, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.
