A well-balanced attack led Girard over Franklin in every quarter on their way to victory on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Girard Yellowjackets blew the Franklin Knights out of the water with a 78-39 final score. The Yellowjackets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Franklin's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Will Findlan, who posted 14 points. Jameson Wofford was another key player, putting up ten points.

Girard pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.2 points per game. As for Franklin, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Girard will venture away from home to face off against North East at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Girard's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches. As for Franklin, they will challenge Warren at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.1 points per game this season.
