The Royalton-Hartland Rams lost against the Wilson Lakemen back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Royalton-Hartland took a serious blow against Wilson, falling 71-26.
Wilson had a senior duo take command as Peyton McInnis scored 23 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds and Rian Faery dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten assists. That makes it five consecutive games in which McInnis has scored at least 25% of Wilson's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Thrush, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Royalton-Hartland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Wilson, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-2.
Royalton-Hartland will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Alden at 6:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Wilson will be home for the holidays to greet Akron at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
