The Chavez Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their tenth straight loss. They were beaten by North Hollywood 84-23. Chavez has not had much luck with North Hollywood recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
North Hollywood can attribute much of their success to Darell Cervantes, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Sales, who scored 13 points.
Chavez's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-12. As for North Hollywood, their victory bumped their record up to 8-15.
Chavez will look to defend their home court on Monday against Monroe at 4:30 p.m. Monroe is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for North Hollywood, they will head out on the road to challenge Arleta at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
