Blue Valley scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Frankfort, 70-52. At the time, the Wildcats was ranked 22nd in the state, while the Rams was 54th.
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Frankfort, who took down 22nd ranked Frankfort, 70-52.
Garry Kraushaar's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Alex Surdez threw for 64 and two touchdowns and Lucas Adams had 33 yards receiving. On the ground Adams chipped in 157 yards. Calahan Brown helped Frankfort's passing attack out by catching three balls for 31 yards.
B & B's Dustin Rottinghaus and Cameron Haug have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Twin Valley (8 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. Rottinghaus has thrown for 450 yards this season, while Haug, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 11 catches for 141 yards. The Wildcats' Adams leads the league in rushing yards with 645.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Falcons take on Frankfort. At the moment, B & B is in first, while the Wildcats are in third.
