After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Osceola, the Harrisburg Hornets were happy to have found some success on Friday. They walked away with a 52-43 win over Piggott. That's another feather in the cap for Harrisburg, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Harrisburg was led to victory by Eastin Gray and Axel Heeb. Gray scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and four steals, while Heeb scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was JP Rowton, who scored nine points along with six assists and two steals.
Harrisburg's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-18. As for Piggott, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-17.
Harrisburg will be playing in front of their home fans against Gosnell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Piggott, they will head out on the road to take on Rivercrest at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Rivercrest's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Piggott has been banged up by nine consecutive losses on the road.
