There's no place like home for The Skyview Storm, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They blew past Battle Ground 49-10 at home. The result was nothing new for Skyview, who have now won six contests by 28 points or more so far this season.
Skyview had a senior duo take command as Jake Kennedy threw for 163 yards and three touchdowns and Riley Artis picked up 92 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Artis was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield for a catch that went for 64 yards.
Skyview's victory was their fifth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 7-1. As for Battle Ground, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Skyview will take on Union at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Union will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 78th, while Skyview is ranked tenth). As for Battle Ground, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Camas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Camas is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.
