Lake Norman's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Samantha Shehan, who scored 18 points. The match was Shehan's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelsey Rhyne, who scored 15 points along with 8 rebounds.
A.C. Reynolds' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anna Wilcox, who scored 8 points. Another player making a difference was Tait Harvey, who scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds.
Lake Norman's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for A.C. Reynolds, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.
