The Crossroads Christian Warriors had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Norton Science & Language Academy by a score of 60-52 on Wednesday. The victory was just what Crossroads Christian needed coming off of a 85-25 loss in their prior contest.
Leading Crossroads Christian to victory were Dean MacRitchie and Jacob Faldas. MacRitchie dropped a double-double on 16 points and 18 rebounds, while Faldas scored 27 points along with four steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Faldas has scored at least a third of Crossroads Christian's points. Brandon Rayson was another key contributor, scoring five points along with 12 rebounds.
Crossroads Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-13. As for Norton Science & Language Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crossroads Christian will face off against the Ravens at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Grove School is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. As for Norton Science & Language Academy, they will head out on the road to take on the Kings at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Bethel Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday.
