Soccer Preview: South River Meets Old Mill + How To Watch

The South River Seahawks will face off against the Old Mill Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Thursday, South River came up short against Broadneck and fell 4-2. While losing is never fun, South River can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland soccer rankings (they are ranked 28th, while Broadneck are ranked fifth).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Old Mill). Everything went their way against Chesapeake Science Point on Thursday as they made off with a 5-1 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Old Mill considering their one-goal performance the match before.

Old Mill's win brought them up to 2-3-1. As for South River, they are now 5-3, having gone 2-3 since their three-game winning streak ended.
