South Florence won the last time they faced Lakewood, and Hailey McManus did her part to make sure it happened again. The Bruins blew past the Gators 3-0 on Thursday thanks in part to McManus, who had 22 assists and 13 aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.9 aces per game.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant South Florence was: they took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-2, 25-11.

South Florence is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5-1 record this season. As for Lakewood, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

South Florence didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Wilson on the 16th. As for Lakewood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Lower Richland on the 16th.
