After flying high against McCormick last Tuesday, Thornwell came back down to earth. The Thornwell Saints wound up on the wrong side of a tough 20-10 walloping at the hands of the Southside Christian Sabres on Wednesday. Thornwell will challenge McCormick at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Southside Christian, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Spartanburg Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. Spartanburg Christian Academy knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy run totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Southside Christian likes a good challenge.
