Winona Christian won the last time they met up with Park Place Christian Academy, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Winona Christian were able to grind out a solid victory over Park Place Christian Academy on Friday, winning 28-20.
After a totally unproductive first quarter, the Winona Christian offense stepped up its game and put 20 points on the board in the second quarter. Park Place Christian Academy came up with 7 to make it 20-7 heading into the break. Although they lost the second-half battle, they still had plenty to win the war. The win bumped their record up to 4-1. The loss dropped Park Place Christian Academy's record to 2-3.
Winona Christian will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Marshall Academy. Park Place Christian Academy will look to defend their home turf against St. Aloysius at 7:00 PM.
