Michael Nottleman turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than six strikeouts on Friday. He produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Columbus is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 1-4 otherwise.

Coming up, Nottleman and Columbus will square off against Kendrick at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbus is a perfect 4-0 against Kendrick going back to April of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
