It was a good run, but Arete Prep unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 77-36 defeat at the hands of the Arizona Lutheran Academy Coyotes. The CHARGERS were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-19.

Arizona Lutheran Academy found their leader in sophomore Cash Hill, who went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc on his way to 22 points. With that strong performance, Hill is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Kayenda, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 12 points and five rebounds.

Arete Prep's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Arizona Lutheran Academy, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Arete Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 79-76 win against Tuba City on the 3rd. As for Arizona Lutheran Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 44-34 victory against Northwest Christian on the 3rd.
