Phillips entered their tilt with Little Village on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Phoenix 20-7. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by eight  runs or more this season.
 Bianca Porterfield made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. The dominant performance also gave  her a new career-high in  strikeouts (four). She was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 1-for-1 with one  home run and two  RBI. That  hit marked the first that  she has  got this season.
 In other batting news,  Welnesha Hall was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with one  home run, five  stolen bases,  and three  runs. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Kamaya Campbell, who  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with four  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  triple.
 Phillips  lost a few balls and  finished the game with four  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've managed all season.
Phillips' win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 5-2. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Little Village, they now  have a losing record of 1-2-1.
