The North Baltimore Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Emmanuel Christian Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Baltimore will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

At the plate, Layla Delancy was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Leah Trout, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Meanwhile, Emmanuel Christian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Cardinals. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by 12 runs or more this season.
Maggie Woodward made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Woodward was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Emmanuel Christian got a massive performance out of Faith Taylor, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Alyssa Nichol also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Emmanuel Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .529 or higher in three consecutive games.
North Baltimore's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Emmanuel Christian, their record now sits at 10-6.
Thursday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. North Baltimore hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .347.
