After flying high against Varsity Opponent last Tuesday, the Houston Math Science & Tech Tigers came back down to earth. Houston Math Science & Tech had to suffer through a rough 71-36 loss at the hands of Westbury. Houston Math Science & Tech has struggled against Westbury recently, as their contest on Saturday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Bryan Bernardez was his usual excellent self, scoring 53 points for Westbury. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Bernardez has scored at least 25% of Westbury's points.
Houston Math Science & Tech has yet to win a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 3-4 record. As for Westbury, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.
Houston Math Science & Tech will head out on the road to face off against Pasadena at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pasadena has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 280 points over their last four contests. As for Westbury, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chavez at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
