In what's become a running theme this season, Kouts gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Monday. They never let the Westville Blackhawks onto the board and left with  a   10-0  win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Kouts considering their one-run performance the  contest before.
  Noah Gudeman made a splash no matter where he played. He  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Gudeman was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base.
 In other batting news,  Cooper Whitaker was  excellent,  going 1-for-3 with two  RBI and a  double.  Logan Clark was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Kouts has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-4-1 record  this season. As for Westville, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with that  loss, which was their fourth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Kouts will head out on the road to  challenge  Wheeler at 4:45  p.m.  on Thursday. Kouts' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8  runs per game  this season, so Wheeler's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Westville, they will be playing at home against 21st Century Charter at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Westville has given up an average of 9.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
