The Arcadia Apaches had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 75-55 margin over Muir. With Arcadia ahead 45-25 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
It was another big night for Jordan Dollar, who scored 27 points along with two steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Mansour Sanneh was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds.
Arcadia is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. As for Muir, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-17.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arcadia will take on Pasadena at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Pasadena is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Muir, they will head out on the road to square off against Burroughs at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Burroughs focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday.
