The Oak Hills Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Valley View Eagles at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Oak Hills had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 20-run drubbing they dealt Hesperia on Thursday. The Bulldogs' pitchers stepped up to hand the Scorpions a 20-0 shutout. The win was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on three straight.
CARSYN LEON looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Oak Hills got a massive performance out of SIENNA GARCIA, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave GARCIA a new career-high. MIA LOPEZ also deserves some recognition as she hit her first doubles of the season.
Oak Hills kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 12 hits in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Valley View came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 7-0 victory. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly seven runs.
The result came thanks to Giselle Morales's shutout, as she gave up just two hits and racked up six Ks.
At the plate, Alyssa Torres was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double. Another player making a difference was Maddie Barrios, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Oak Hills' record is now 11-9. As for Valley View, their record now sits at 22-4.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Wednesday. Oak Hills hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 1.2 home runs per game. However, it's not like Valley View struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
