Mackenzie Schumaker posted a new career-high in runs on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season.

Schumaker's strong effort led Westfield over Cassadaga Valley and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolverines are 9-1 against the Cougars going back to May of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
