Even though the Louis E. Dieruff Huskies scored an imposing 57 points on Wednesday, the Easton Area Rovers still came out on top. Easton Area walked away with a 65-57 win over Louis E. Dieruff. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Easton Area.
Easton Area's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lafayette Acree, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Adonis Pompilus, who scored 10 points.
Easton Area's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Louis E. Dieruff, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Easton Area will be playing in front of their home fans against Northampton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Louis E. Dieruff, they will head out on the road to face off against William Allen at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
