Fleming extended the longest winning streak in A-6 North (6 Man) this week by beating Bethune, 50-8. This was the team's ninth consecutive win.
Briggsdale and Otis played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Briggsdale eventually emerging with a 34-28 victory. Caleb Fassler threw for 77 yards and two touchdowns, ran for 25 yards and caught one passes for 11 yards in the win.
Scott Klinginsmith was the most productive running back in the league this week. In nine carries, he ran for 165 yards as Pawnee bested the Bulldogs. Brye Brunelle also contributed to the rushing game with 43 yards on the ground.
Tanner Serrato put up the best numbers through the air as Fleming topped the Bobcats. He finished with a total of seven completions for 112 yards and four touchdowns. Serrato's favorite target this week was Caleb Knowles, who caught five passes for 66 yards.
Launer was the best wideout in A-6 North (6 Man) this week as Briggsdale defeated Otis. Launer racked up four receptions for 79 yards. Tyler Axelson helped Briggsdale's passing attack out by catching three balls for 37 yards.
Rick Mondt's team's Jake Lukas-Gorman and Launer have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Lukas-Gorman has thrown for 1421 yards this season, while Launer, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 38 catches for 703 yards. Trevor Chintala from John King's team leads the league in rushing with 1740 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between the Wildcats and the Coyotes. Fleming enters the game ranked first in the state, while Pawnee ranks 18th.
In 106 carries Austin Crane has accumulated 921 yard this year.
The Wildcats took down Bethune 50-8 last week, the largest margin of any game. Serrato in the win.
