Baseball Recap: Burlington Takes a Loss

Burlington fell victim to Iola and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 1-0. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Burlington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Iola, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Mustangs beat Burlington by a score of 2-0 later that day.
