Baseball Recap: Larkin Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Larkin had to endure a 13-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Aurora East Tomcats a 6-0 shutout on Monday. The Royals not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 12th (when they won 11-5).

Larkin picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-23. As for Aurora East, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Larkin will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tomcats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
