After a string of four wins, Antioch's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Huntley Red Raiders by a score of 8-6. The Sequoits were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Mason Willis made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Johnson, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Antioch's defeat dropped their record down to 21-11-1. As for Huntley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-14.

Looking ahead, Antioch will challenge Round Lake at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Huntley, they will square off against Central at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
