It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Conway ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They secured a 42-37 W over Socastee. That's two games straight that Conway has won by exactly five points.
Among those leading the charge was Devin Grainger, who scored 15 points. Trevon Johnson was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Meanwhile, Sumter was able to grind out a solid victory over Carolina Forest on Friday, taking the game 43-36.
Conway now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Sumter, their win bumped their record up to 11-12.
