The Eastern Eagles will head out to challenge the Oak Hill Oaks at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Eastern will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Eastern came out on top against Alexander on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run second inning. The Eagles blew past the Spartans 8-0. Considering the Eagles have won ten matchups by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Leah Rader made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted over her last five contests. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one double.
In other batting news, Aubrey Quillen and Kenleigh Bapst did most of the damage at the plate: Quillen went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double, while Bapst went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Jaidyn McCleese, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Oak Hill lost 10-3 to Glenwood on Tuesday.
Oak Hill saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chelcie Fowble, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
Oak Hill has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Eastern, their record now sits at 14-2-1.
Oak Hill's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Eastern has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .492. It's a different story for Oak Hill, though, as they've only averaged .336. Will they be able to contain Eastern's hitters?
Eastern got the 'W' when the teams last played two weeks ago against Oak Hill by a conclusive 18-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
