The Tri-Valley Bulldogs won the last time they faced the Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Red Raiders, and things went their way on Friday too. Tri-Valley blew past the Red Raiders 62-37. Given Tri-Valley's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 182nd, while the Red Raiders are ranked 523rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Layne Yoder continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points along with seven assists and five steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Braeden Doyle, who scored six points along with seven rebounds.
Tri-Valley's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Our Lady of Lourdes Regional, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tri-Valley will take on the Eagles at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Line Mountain is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Our Lady of Lourdes Regional, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against the Hurricanes at 3:30 p.m.
