The Green Level Gators put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Apex at home to the tune of 77-44. Green Level's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Leading Green Level to victory were Isaac Ericksen and Israel Eatman. Ericksen scored 18 points along with five rebounds and two steals, while Eatman scored 21 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Eatman has scored all season. Trey Manhertz was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Despite the loss, Apex still got an impressive performance from Jaden Maynard, who scored 16 points. Maynard continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Zaelyn White, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Green Level's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Apex, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Green Level will challenge the Catamounts at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Panther Creek is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Apex, they will head out on the road to square off against the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Apex Friendship has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 240 points over their last four games.
