Atwater will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Stagg in at 5:00 PM.
Atwater had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They blew past Oakmont 49-24.
Meanwhile, Stagg had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 16-40 walloping at Hughson hands.
Atwater's lifted them to 1-0 while Stagg's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Atwater can add another positive mark to their record or if Stagg can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Atwater's step.
