Haslett's win on Thursday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jadelyn Trotter, who scored 18 points along with six steals. Trotter has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaitlyn Johnson, who scored 13 points along with seven steals and six rebounds.
Haslett's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.6 points per game. As for Eastern, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.
Haslett will head out on the road to square off against Portland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eastern, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Sexton at 5:30 p.m.
