When it comes to explaining why St. Edward's lost, one person who can't be blamed is Nate Sparkman. Despite the final result, he scored 23 points. Sparkman scored a full 51.1% of St. Edward's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gary Anderson, who scored 11 points.
Tradition Prep found their leader in underclassman Aydan Fields, who scored 17 points along with 9 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Fields has scored at least 25% of Tradition Prep's points. Christian Arisi was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 9 rebounds.

St. Edward's won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Cocoa Beach at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. One thing working in Cocoa Beach's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Tradition Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Somerset Academy - Canyons at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Somerset Academy - Canyons focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday.
