Reed Point/Rapelje and Absarokee are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Reed Point/Rapelje Renegades will take on the Absarokee Huskies at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Reed Point/Rapelje is no doubt hoping to put an end to a 15-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Saturday, Reed Point/Rapelje had to suffer through a rough 66-24 loss at the hands of Plenty Coups.
Axel Blodgett put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored seven points along with 21 rebounds.
Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Absarokee had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They came out on top against the Rockets by a score of 43-35. The win was just what Absarokee needed coming off of a 61-41 loss in their prior contest.
Reed Point/Rapelje's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Absarokee, their victory bumped their record up to 3-11.
Reed Point/Rapelje came up short against Absarokee in their previous meeting last Saturday, falling 43-32. Can Reed Point/Rapelje avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
