After flying high against the Shawnee Redskins last Tuesday, the Century Centurions came back down to earth. Century suffered a tough 57-33 defeat at the hands of Johnston City on Thursday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Century in their matchups with Johnston City: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite the loss, Century still got an impressive performance from Ashton Dillow, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. Dillow has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last four times she's played.
Century's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-5. As for Johnston City, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-13 record this season.
Century does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Johnston City also has no future games currently scheduled.
