The Brentwood School Eagles waltzed into Friday's matchup with five straight wins but they left with six. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Viewpoint 42-0 at home. Brentwood School might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won six games by 21 points or more this season.
Boone Lourd continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 105 yards and three touchdowns while completing 88.9% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground. Lourd is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last seven games he's played. Another player making a difference was Davis Wong, who picked up 38 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Brentwood School's victory was their fourth straight at home , which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.0 points per game. As for Viewpoint, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4.
Brentwood School will be playing at home against Fountain Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fountain Valley is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. Viewpoint does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
