The team got a solid performance out of senior running back Chris Melton; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win. As for Anclote, it and Hudson were almost perfectly matched up last week, but Anclote suffered an agonizing 40 - 39 defeat. The outcome was totally different than in its previous game, where the margin was anything but close.
After their losses, Anclote dropped to 1-1 and Ridgewood dropped to 1-2. We'll find out which team manages to turn its luck around when they battle it out this week.
