The South Warren Spartans will head out on the road to face off against the Ohio County Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully South Warren is not getting complacent, as they comes into the match much higher ranked than Ohio County in Kentucky (South Warren is ranked 15th, while Ohio County is ranked 191st).
Last Friday, South Warren came up short against Bowling Green and fell 36-29.
South Warren's defeat came about despite a quality game from Bryce Button, who threw for 289 yards and three touchdowns. Button is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played.
Meanwhile, Ohio County's recent rough patch got a bit rougher two weeks ago after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Crittenden County 40-6.
South Warren's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2. Ohio County has traveled a rocky road this season, as they've lost seven of their first eight contests, which leaves them at a 1-7 record this season.
