The Walhalla Razorbacks's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Crescent 67-35 on the road. That 67-35 margin sets a new team best for Walhalla this season.
Walhalla's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kami Roach, who scored 29 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. Roach hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Gianna Ortiz-Viera, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Walhalla's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Crescent, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Walhalla is on the road again on Friday and play against West-Oak at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th. Hopefully West-Oak focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Wednesday. As for Crescent, they will head out on the road to face off against Pendleton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
