There's no place like home for St. John, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the First Baptist Christian Warriors a 16-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Mavericks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by nine runs or more this season.

St. John's win bumped their record up to 6-3-1. As for First Baptist Christian, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Coming up, St. John's will venture away from home to challenge Houston Christian at 5:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for First Baptist Christian, they will welcome Emery/Weiner at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
